The word that best describes my wardrobe is "camouflage." Not camouflage like hunters and soldiers wear. Camouflage as in blend in with your surroundings. Khaki pants. Cardigan sweaters. I don't like standing out from the crowd. This makes me think I'd be a good bank robber. I'd pull off a big heist and the police would release the following information:
"The suspect is described as a middle-aged female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with an average build and brown hair. No one can remember what she was wearing."
I'm looking through my old fabrics and seeing what would make a good dress and apron combination. I'd like to see this as a blue dress and a flowered apron, but I don't have enough blue for a dress. So an apron it is. With that sweet little scrap of trim.
And then there's this. That red and gray is the perfect housedress print, if you ask me. And I'm pretty sure the fabric on the right has been waiting its whole life to become part of a clothespin bag.
