Oh my, how I wish I could be at that auction house! Those tablecloths would be mine, all mine! I would wash them and hang them on the line and then love them on our kitchen table. LOL

(It's funny because I have been thinking about adding a list to my blog like you have there of things you never get tired of. My list would be tablecloths, ornaments, and pottery.)

Wow, what lovelies!!! I too, love the pyrex. The pinks and aqua snowflakes. The tablecloths are gorgeous, and the head vase is soo cool.
I so enjoy your blog, Barbara!
thanks
Shannon

I would have bought some of the tablecloths too. Beautiful!!!

Your vintage giveaways are lovely, but I know the feeling of needing to take it down to the things you really couldnt live without. It makes them all the more special. Plus you do need to have some room for your new finds...starting in 22 days! You have got me so excited about that too. Have a great week/weekend. Love Stacy

Accckkkk! Is there any chance that you'd consider offering some of these treasures to your readers? I'd give my eye teeth for the vase!!!

Ooops, I meant offering to sell them to your readers, of course!

Can you give me directions to that auction? Well guess it really is too far to drive, but I sure would love to be there!

Patty

I am so jealous of anyone who can get to that auction house. What lovely things!

Rachael

Hard isn't it? I am about to move house and really HAVE to get rid of some the things that I like but honestly just sit in cupboards waiting to be rediscovered... which I do and with delight but there is only so much that you can have in circulation at any one time isn't there. Enjoy your lighter feeling and the knowledge that someone else will now get to enjoy them like you did! (p.s. I would have enjoyed the pyrex ALOT.)

I've been lurking around your blog recently. I absolutely love all the vintgae goodness here! So, I thought it was time to leave a comment, introduce myself & say Hello.

I also collect vintage items & I love sharing them with everyone! I have started hosting a weekly blog carnival called Vintage Thingies Thursdays. I think you'll really enjoy it. Come on over. I'll fix you a glass of iced tea & you can put your feet up!

What lovely things! It is so hard for me to get rid of things, too, but I know that I need to (if only to make room for the new finds as well!)

And as for our governor situation . . . . ah . . . yeah . . .

Beth Leintz

Oh yeah, that's exactly how I feel- sometimes you are just better off to get rid of stuff, not worry about "making money" and just remember how much fun you had when you bought something- and now you can pass it on to someone else who will be so happy to get it. And along with that, you have that added benefit of room to bring home more goodies- because really, at least for me, its about the hunt and not the "having".
