Wow! I love the card with the hanky girl. Your show and tell is fantastic. The hanky shower - how cool would that be! Oh, and your shadow box is so pretty - love it!

Oh, everything is just too cute! From the card to the shower idea to the picket fence!!

How lucky to have a collection of your mother's like that! So many lovely things...the card is very unique!

Beth Leintz

Love how you salvaged a hankie- I can't bring myself to get rid of them if they have the tiniest bit of pretty left in them!

Hi Barabara!

I adore the little belle and her sweet hanky dress! How clever!

Thanks so much for sharing today!!

Hi Barbara!
Thanks for visiting my blog! I love your hankies, and the various project where hankies were used. The shadow box with a hankie-picket-fence is adorable!

What a wonderful story about the hankie party--I love that lily of the valley one. I can just imagine that some of them might have been perfumed with a scent to match the flowers printed on them.

What a beautiful collection! I have never heard of a hankie shower, but I love that you have some of your Mom's hankies from then!!
Thank you for playing along with us today!

What sweet treasures you have! And that shadow box is so cute and fun!

Love the bright colorful hankies - and, it does look like it could be Cath Kidston. How neat that you have some passed down to you. I have a small collection & some new reproductions that are really pretty. I can't imagine having to use such pretty things for such a thing as blowing the nose! I suffer from allergies (the worst ever this season)and, I'd be in real trouble back in the 40s.

I love using proper hankies instead of throw aways. So much softer! So much prettier! And with crafting opportunities to die for, what more could you ask?!

WOWEE...your hankie collection is STELLAR!!! I love the pretty pastel colored ones in the second photo, and the hankie shower is such a sweet idea..so cool that you have some of your Mom's hankies too. What a fantastic idea to use them in your collages..bravo for a stunning and unique idea!!! LOVE IT!!!

I love how you photographed all of your pretty hankies...very nice!

Very pretty hankies. I just love the handkerchief card. What a lovely shower idea, handkerchief. It would be lovely if life was simple like that now.
