I spotted this tall, yellow vase from the curb at a sale this morning and thought it looked promising. I really loved it when I got closer and saw the raised bird design. My only hesitation was paying $5 for a vase that had an area with noticeably dark crazing.
When I turned it upside down and saw it was McCoy, I figured I could live with the crazing.
And if it really bothered me, I would just turn it around and look at the flowers on the back.
But when I got it home and washed it, I discovered it wasn't crazed. It was just a dark mark that came right off. Had I realized there would have been an "after" to show you, I'd have taken a picture of the vase "before." Now I'm just loving it in its vintage perfection. And I'm off to make amends with Carson, who looks a little unhappy that I'm pointing the camera at the vase and not him.
I guess Carson is just jealous of your amazing vase find. Me too, lol!

Love the design and especially the color. Also think it's hilarious that your dog walks into every picture ;-)

What a great find. Good for you.
Your dog looks like he owns the bed in your earlier post too. I love the quilt and pretty embroidered pillows too.

Great find! But the first thing I noticed was sweet little Carson looking all "hey what am I, chopped liver" in the background! What a cutie!

Great find, but I have to say the best part of the photo is that lovely dog in the background.
