Here's a good piece of fabric for today, because it's raining. I've had it a long time. It's kind of a favorite, even though I don't know what to do with it.
It's too sheer for pretty much anything but a curtain or apron, or the overskirt of a little girl's dress. For now, it's just part of the stash.
This one makes me wonder about the process of fabric design. Did someone in the design department randomly doodle an elephant in a wheelbarrow? Did some executive say, "What this company really needs is a pastel cotton print with elephants in a garden!" Did housewives suddenly start clamoring for pachyderm-and-posy prints? I don't think we'll ever have the answer to those questions.
On to something slightly more conventional. The geraniums are blue, yes, but they're sitting on a polka-dot tablecloth in front of a ventian blind. Gotta love that.
And this, maybe my favorite garden print of all.
I love the last one!

What great fabrics! I especially like the blue geraniums and the flower-filled garden wagon!

Fun graphics...funny about the elephants. They did have a lot of pink dancing elephant themed cocktail stuff back then - maybe, they were drinking on the job. lol.

I am pretty sure I have several yards of that last one in the stash. And you know how I love that geranium fabric. (I am seriously hoarding my precious piece of it.)

I absolutly love little animals doing darling things. Lecien has some wonderful reproduction children's prints-they need to see that elephant. Darling.
