I'm in love. With this bird. A little handmade wooden blue bird that I found at a sale a couple of weeks ago.
I love his perfect shape and his simple lines and that clear shade of blue. I love thinking about somebody sawing and gluing and sanding him, and then dipping a paint brush in a can of blue paint. I love this bird so much I can't decide where to put him because I think he'd look good in every room.
I love her, too. I don't know why the red bird is a girl and the blue bird is a boy, but that's what they are. And I can't decide where to put her, either.
Inside or outside? Inside, I think. I don't want them to weather. Together or apart? Probably together.
Should the red birds go in a different room than the blue ones? Should they all be together in one big flock? I love these birds. I just keep moving them around, loving them more each day. If they ever find a place to perch, I'll let you know.
Yes, those are lovely. Will you put anything on them?

LOL I just called my husband over to see them so he could make me some. He replied, "Bird shelves? Are you bird brained?"
Nevermind him, I love them!

They are so adorable! You always find the best stuff :) I would put them somewhere you may not always have a smile on your face. The laundry room, near the alarm clock, at the kitchen sink. They would surely put a smile on your face.

LOVE THEM!!
I'm not sure about all of them, but I think the blue ones have to go on that beautiful blue and white wallpaper.
