Hey, glad I didn't steal your thunder. It was the estate sale from hell, wasn't it? Hope you make some BIG BUCKS off that tablcloth. You earned it!

Linda

Of course I meant to type tablecloth (with an e).

Mary@Turkeyfarmtreasures

Estate sales around where I live don't leave much room for resale in their prices.

Hope you can flip that tablecloth of yours.

We use the tablecloths I find a few times before I resell them. I use one of those tacky clear plastic table covers for protection from my messy tribe. Then off they go to eBay. The two on now are so sweet.

YES, pay the $3 to be warned away from those crazy freaks! xo, suzy

Hahaha I thought you liked lists and you would be happy when everything is clear....the salespeople must have read your previous post!

Just kidding, great post, beautiful tablecloths!
Have a nice weekend!

Joan

Wow what a sale.Does sound like too many rules

julie

What? No running at an estate sale? How are you supposed to get to the basement quickly to find all the best Christmas stuff?

Susan

oh my goodness! i had a good laugh! sorry about the fiasco but it made for a great story! love the tablecloth!

I am roaring! Thank you...I am not the only one getting miffed at sales, huh? I can't stand it when....

The checkout person does not use a calculator...they usually can't add.

They comment on every item I buy.

They don't bother to actually check out the items, but give me a blanket price which is usually outrageous and much more than the marked price total.

When they don't let me wrap my own items, as i've had too many broken items from their wrap jobs...I was once told that if they break it,so what, then I don't have to pay for it.

Nice tablecloth...was it worth it? I might have paid the 3.00 just to know which sale is theirs and never go again...such audacity! I'm insulted and I was nowhere near that sale. Do you think that people know that they are being rude by telling adults what is and is not proper behavior?

Wow- what an ordeal. I'm so sorry to hear that you had to go through all that. Kinda sucks the enjoyment out of "garage/estate saleing". I wonder if there were Lawyer fees and laws to abide by. Or someone didn't really want all that stuff sold, but maybe needed the money? The tablecloth is interesting. Not my style, but i like the colors. Great find! Just sorry that the estate sale was so intense (for lack of a better word). Hopefully the next one will be better?!

Cindy

$3.00 to join a mailing list?! Never heard of anyone doing that before. The tablecloth is so pretty! I never come across any that nice. They are usually so stained and holey, it's not even worth buying to cut up.

Joanna {sweet finds}

I'm sorry to hear about all of your troubles. I hope you make tons of money off the table cloth though. :) xoxo, Joanna
