A little cake stand is a good way to collect a lot of tiny things in one spot.
This little witch always makes me laugh. Who hasn't felt like her from time to time?
I never much cared for the skeletons until I found a home for them on the mirror.
Plus, it's just kind of fun to look in the mirror and see that word over your face.
That witch is awesome.

Growing up in the 60s everyone would have paper halloween things taped to their windows in my community. I love those old things. Decorations are so fun.

Thanks for explaining the taste of corn candy by mail!!! I'll answer you about the dutch tradition. I like the skeletons and the idea of somebody looking in the mirror and seeing the banner as you explained too. Too bad you were so clever not to take your picture with that word.

Takes me right back to my childhood and our decorations...ah, wish I had some now. We had the little figurine candles (I see they are in the Vermont Store catalog now, but pricey)and paper cutouts to hang. I just told my 5 yr old today as we were putting up the cling on decorations that we had paper ones when I was a kid and had to use tape.
Love the sweet honeycomb pumpkins, too!
