Curtains drive me crazy. It's really hard to find good ones. We have had the same living room curtains for nearly 6 years now, and I swear I will be one of those little old ladies who in 80 years is still swearing those curtains are perfectly good (never mind that the cats and Jack are tearing them up) because they were so darn expensive!

I love how these curtains came out! I love that kind of fabric. Every time I read (in Dutch blogs) 'the bedroom must be quiet so I choose for a sandcolor and whites blahdeeblahdeeblah'. Well, my bedroom is flowers, flowers and flowers and I still love it after almost 5 years. I was lucky to be able to buy the Rosali fabrics at Ikea and combined this with a wallpaper (flowers what else?) of Cath Kidston. Your tray is cute too!

I love those curtains! I've used lots of sheets as curtains in my years as a military wife. This is our 5th house since we were married and I finally broke down and bought "real" curtains since it looks like we'll be here for a while and I finally found something I liked! Well, two rooms have "real" curtains. The rest are still linens of various sorts! Thanks for sharing the pictures. It looks great!

Oh man do I love your curtains. I'm still trying to figure out what I want for my kitchen. I love Cath Kidston and have a package coming today and I can't wait.

Nanette

So beautiful. I love the color palate and the romance of the flowers. How can you go wrong with Cath?

That is my dream, to live in that cottage! I collect those prints and have them in the baby's room. I think they look like fairy tale cottages and that there just must be fairies in those gardens.

The room is just getting prettier and prettier!

Love your curtains! I gave up a long time ago trying to find the perfect curtains (barkcloth floorlength panels for $1 a panel), so I've been making them myself, using sheets or cheapo fabric. The bedroom is really coming along! Gonna borrow (steal) your idea of putting a tray on one of those plate/picture frame holders. Maybe they won't get dusty as fast as they do lying flat!

LOVE the little floral still life in the first shot!

I'm still waiting for some smack about the Superbowl. My husband asked me who I wanted to win (HUH?) and at that time I didn't even know who Pittsburg was playing! :)

I love that tumble up and the sweet picture next to it- what a darling room. Great idea with the curtains.

Oh..I agree....'More' is more....and like I always say....anything worth doing is worth 'over' doing...especially when it comes to florals!.......if you'll send me your snail mail address..I might be able to dig up something from my leftover antigue store days to go in your room!

kim

Great idea for your curtains and they turned out very pretty. Your bedroom is coming along nicely and looks like a breath of Spring.

susan
