I absolutely remember those little critters...I used to stare at the glass cases too! I love that little doggie looking up....too cute!

If these are the one's i am thinking of, they are the product of Hagen-Renaker, Inc. that made them.

You're collection is adorable and the mushroom sends it over the top! Great idea!

They sold during my time for about $2.50-$3.50. My grandmother and my parents built my collection--they used to give the siamese cats to me for little accomplishments (dance recitals, tennis matches, usw.)

I am super duper crazy over the moon jealous of them going to the parade. I would even pee in a porta potty just to be there, and that is saying a lot. LOLOL

Swoon. I am so in love with your collection. I need to go dig through the shoebox that holds the stuff from my childhood shadowbox.

Memories . . . those little guys were the start of my collecting days. When I was very young my mom bought me a little cat. I collected them before I was married and they were all housed in a large printer's drawer. I still have the collection, but now they are in a box in the attic.

I was just going to say Hagen Renaker too! In fact, I have a box with that exact doggie and a siamese cat that hangs on the side of a glass (that looks like yours). :) And I, too, saved up babysitting money to buy them!! heh. Too funny. I have a little shelf in the shape of a house that I want to paint and back with decorative paper and put on my daughter's room!

And I forgot to tell you....I'm 20 minutes away from DC and you would not CATCH me there tomorrow even if George Washington himself was making a special appearance! The roads around here are already jammed and the hype is like nothing I've ever seen in my 45 years here. Traffic should be lots of fun tomorrow!

LOVE your tiny treasures...
Made me smile!
Hope your day is wonderful~
