It's completely normal to bring home new housewares and want to make a still life with them, isn't it? (This is the part where you're obligated to say yes.)
It's just that I was so very happy to find these at, of all places, Marshall's. It seemed like the reward that was waiting for me after four hours at the mall with two teenage girls (my daughter and her best friend, and I love them both to pieces, but four hours at a mall is a LONG time.)
And then there was a box waiting for me when I got home, and here's what was inside.
Ordered from here, after a tip from the lovely Suzy. A double dose of Cath. Not much better than that.
p.s. still experimenting with backup camera ... pictures may be more odd than usual!
OOHH! I'm going to Marshals!

Oh wow. I've got Cath envy. Those mugs are unbelievable. And the sheets/towels. Sigh. Until we are back to 2 incomes I'm not purchasing but I can live vicariously through you!

Hi...if you go to my website http://papernation.com.au/
and click on to 'prints' you'll see a pic called In My Shadow Box, and you'll recognise at least one of the ornaments. And I think your wooden mushroom may be a tiddly winks container.
All the best

Never, ever has a blog post resulted in an impulse purchase...until now. Not much left but I have two king and two standard pillowcases headed to my house. They may end up as super cute pajama pants for my daughter and me. Thanks Barbara!

Oh, those mugs are perfect! I would have my tea in them every day. Nothing like those at our Marshall's. But I'll keep hoping...
