Well, as anybody on the East coast has figured out, that spring weather Friday was short-lived. Nonetheless, it's March, and I'm just going ahead on the assumption that the pink bunny/fuzzy yellow chick/spicy jellybean season has arrived. (It's important to have the right food, if jellybeans are a food, to get in the crafting spirit.)
I mentioned a giveaway a week or so ago, but I didn't say much more than that, and here's the deal. I'll pick a winner tonight from the names of everybody who's left a comment in the past week or so. It's just to say thanks for stopping by and leaving a note, which is always nice. I'll send you a box of springtime goodies, which will undoubtedly contain some of these cupcake picks, about 100 of which I got at an auction a few years back.
Anyway, since there's more than enough springtime goodness to go around here, I'll do a second giveaway, too. Leave a comment on this post, and on Friday I'll pick another winner.
The next picture needs a little set-up. Until our dog Carson arrived, our cat Polly ruled the household. (Her sister Patch is really the closest thing we have to a normal, well-adjusted pet.) Polly has spent the last three and a half years sulking over the dog and glaring at us. In the past month or so, though, she's adopted this game-on mentality and decided to challenge the dog for supremacy.
So when Polly decided to hop up on my husband's lap while he watched a movie, that was a sign to Carson to move in closer, even if it meant snuggling up with his mortal feline enemy. Although both kids were out Saturday night, we managed to squeeze in a little sibling rivalry without them.
I don't remember if I have commented before on your blog at all...I am more of a lurker I guess ;-)
But I love the photos and finds and read your blog regularly.
Pink bunnies are sooooooo cute!

The sibling rivalry photo is so, so cute, but are you sure she isn't saying "look out, Barbara" instead of "look out, Carson"? haha
Thanks for showing us spring chicks and bunnies. We still have SNOW on the ground here. March certainly came in like a lion.

I love all of your Easter and springtime goodies. Now that the snow from yesterday is cleared I am going out to get some jelly beans today. I like the cheap kind with the thick sugar skin.

I am a bunny lover from way back. I have a bunch, I think they do multiply though. Always room for a few more though! Happy Spring!

Love the bunnies and the concept of springtime as I look out at all of this snow (yuck!). The pictures of the cat and the dog trying to get the most attention cracked me up.

Barbara,
You crack me up the comment about the island of misfit holiday decorations. That bunny is a bit peculiar. Wasn't it just about 10 days ago we were discussing whether or not it was too early to decorate? I had taken my boxes out of storage. They still are sitting on my family room floor! Oh well, there's always tomorrow!

There are some really disturbing things in that box. A treasure trove gone to hell. :) But there are enough cute things to make up for it. Thanks for sharing.
