Oh the feeders are really gorgeous! I think candles would look great in that one. Ooo nice bread box. I'm a big fan of bread boxes, probably more than I should be

I like them even better with that name written on them, it makes them even more 'naive'. Enjoy your hunt this weekend!

I love those little paintings! The frames are beautiful too.

That bread box is a classic. I like the idea of the copper bird feeder as a candle screen- the copper part (which has a great patina) reminds me of Frank Lloyd Wright.

A Friday morning sale? Lucky you with more great finds!

I would have no idea how to spot a vintage bird feeder compared to a new one. I went out saling myself on Friday and found a few little treasures. I love the weather here right now for treasure hunting...just perfect.

I always enjoy reading what you are up to! :)

Since I'm an avid birder, I would soo hang these in the yard, to see what birdies might visit me.
I love the bread box too. BTW, I remember you emailed to say you couldn't view my entire blog. A few people with IE a having a hard time, I don't know why. You can scroll down to my archives on the sidebar, and click on the dates or post titles, and it will pull up any of the posts.

I finally found my tea towels with the vegetable babies and stuff! I will post them this week and let you know!

Super great find!!! Love the bird feeders. You are so good at scouting out the good stuff...in sports terms, you would be a yard sale "starter" on the A list...or something like that.

That phony Linnell sure does paint some cute flowers! I would've grabbed that breadbox too. And I never would've guessed that those feeders were vintage. Maybe they're made much better than what is sold now. That cute little baby squirrel in your yard probably won't be able to chew through that copper one!

You sure lucked out, especially the bird feeders. We have lots around our kitchen window in the winter....love, love, love it.
