Sounds like some good resolutions that will be easy to stick to. That string holder is SO CUTE! And I do believe that my family has reached that long-awaited place where they finally know what to give me! If it's got a past life, odds are I'll want it!
Barbara,I wish you and your family lots of happiness and prosperity and vintage stuff in 2010!

Such beautiful surroundings. Realistic New Year's resolutions are the very best. Your's are in line with my very own. Your string holder is so cute.

Happy and healthy New Year to you and your family too Barbara!

I haven't been here lately, as I caught a terrible cold, I was just one of those comic figures, you know those in cartoons, sneezing violently all day long. When I recovered I was so behind in blogland that I decided to take a break, to prevent sitting behind my computer for days. Now I am catching up.

Thanks for making 2009 a terrific year reading your blog. I am already looking forward to what you have in your sleeve in 2010!

Linda @ A La Carte

Sounds like a wonderful plan! Enjoy each day and the blessings it brings! Happy New Year.

...and to you. Have a wonderful New Year.

Isn't it funny, 10 years ago I was excited by a tennis braclet, this year my bestest gift was a handpainted sign on vintage wood. Since it was painted by my 5 year old I might be biased...hehehe! Happy New Year Miss Barbara!!

Happy New Year....my sister and I collect string holders. Have never seen one like you received for Christmas...what a special gift!

I agree with what Jenny said.....ten years ago I might have been insulted by some of the things I wish for today!
My biggest resolution is to notice the little things in life too Barbara. Happy 2010 to you!
