Number of ornaments I have sorted, photographed and listed in the last six days: 505.
Number of ornaments broken in surprise visit by exuberant dog: three. (But not these.)
Number of giant rolls of bubble wrap purchased and used: two.
Number of boxes taken to post office since Friday: 20.
Number of days I have to convert what is now called the ornament room back into my son's bedroom: Seven. Maybe eight. (Is Thanksgiving really next week? Seriously?)
Number of thanks I'm sending to anyone who bought ornaments or oogled over them appropriately: 100,000,000,000,000.
Number of dogs who found the excitement of ornament-sorting more than they could bear: just one.
Adorable post and gorgeous ornaments!

So, those were all ornaments bought just this year? (That's 42 dozen!)
Ornaments have seriously slowed down here the last few years. And this year the price is up to roughly $3 PER ornie at the flea market.
(And yet, I tried to sell plain ones in orignal boxes for $2/dozen on the local Craigslist and couldn't get rid of them. Perplexing really. I ended up donating them just because I need to free up space to properly put away my good ones.)

Oh poor Carson is already worn out by the holidays.

I love the eye candy, especially the photo of Carson ;-). Okay sorry Carson, I meant the deer ornaments. Tomorrow the annual thrift shop Christmas sale starts....and I already have too many ornaments, but who cares? Have a lovely day selling along!

Ornie envy--not one of the original sins, but just as deadly. Is Carson an English setter? We have two, Wyatt and Weezie, although the dogsitter refers to them as Bonnie and Clyde.
