(from the composer: hold note, and sing the following quickly: "when I woke up at 5:30 to meet Linda at an estate sale)
Lots of Christmas stuff ...
(from the composer: again, hold note, and sing the following quickly: "a whole village of putz houses, a Christmas handkerchief in its original gift folder, a spun cotton angel, a chenille candy cane, various ornaments and OMG a tiny putz house with a spun cotton Santa inside...)
(still holding that note: "and a forest of bottle brush trees")
(breathe)
would be coming my way!
LOL! Goodness, what a wonderful group of Putz buildings. I love the way their roofs are painted. I'm going to have to remember that. I've always wanted to try to make a group of little buildings.
5:30 a.m......I know, that's usually the key to finding such treasures. Good for you!

Excellent! Wondering if it would be too much use of the ol' artistic license to combine R&H with the 12 Days of Christmas chorus?? You need it after all those really adorable finds!
Hooray for you and Linda rescuing ghosts of Christmases past!

Not that I don't love me some R&H--but wouldn't it be more appropriate to quote a little Irving Berlin? As in WHITE CHRISTMAS?
