I think we both knew this day was coming. I don't want to relive the past, except to say we've had some good times. Remember how I used to look for you as soon as I walked into a room? How thrilled I'd be to find you?
I know. It's not the same as it used to be, is it? We've changed.
OK, technically I guess that's not true. I've changed. You haven't changed one bit.
You're still sweet. Reassuring.
Even endearing.
And really, it's not like we won't ever see each other. There's that quilt I found this summer. And some things that came down through my family. We can still be friends, right?
I only want what's best for you. And I know that you'll find someone new to love you. That's why I'm putting you in Etsy.
So, pink, I guess this is goodbye.
I'll always remember you fondly. Even if I don't want to see so much of you.

Haha! Thanks for the giggle. I sometimes think of leaving my pinks for reds, but I still hold out hope that someday there will be room for both of them in my life. :D

Oh Red. Red red red. Be careful with her. She's my undoing really. She's a tough one to tame. I had my separation from P myself a few years back. But I still see her on occasion. I'm a serial color lover. I date them all. But R is my favorite.

Funny how we go through our phases...I have always said that I am fickle. That is why I rearrange the furniture so often. If you have fallen for a new hue...I say go with it.
