Knowing you appreciate a brain made of cotton makes me feel so much better now, Barbara! LOL!

Lovely vintage Christma. I'll always love the old things best.

I LOVE seeing vintage Christmas all year 'round - and this post is certainly no exception! Thanks for sharing!

What fun finds. I could look at Christmas year-round. Maybe that's why I keep up a tree in my sunroom permanently for seasonal decorations. Thank you for sharing all your goodies.

I am looking forward to the Christmas ornament awards post already!!

I also think finding vintage Christmas is a welcome substitute for skydiving. I am not big on heights and am glad to get a thrill from a jumble of shiny Christmas. Good luck on the spun heads....

How exciting to see these finds. Makes me almost want to go and look at my ornaments. Except it will probably depress me, because I still haven't found a place to put the last ones I got. So they are just stacked in the dining room... like a hoarder would do it.

Mare

oh gosh I think I drooled on my keyboard! I love all of it, ALL of it! Even the knee hugger elves, we have one from my husbands childhood, it's The Elf on the Shelf. Love it! and the mercury glass.......... heaven! you are one lucky lady!!!

Julie

I'm still confused on the aprons :<

Normally I'm not too attracted to shiny, sparkling things but there's just something about vintage Christmas. What other time of year would it be acceptable to stuff litle figures into jewel-shaped (sorry) coffins? Maybe it's the quirkiness that gets me.

Except for those knee-huggers...

I have a feeling that there will be some new categories for your yearly ornament award ceremony! That was an extremely nice Christmas haul, and I want you to spend this summer trying to push past your abhorrence of those knee hugger elves. C'mon, look at those cute faces!
