I'm feeling a little woozy just thinking about what it must have been like to go to that sale! And about all the yummies I could put on that divided plate, and have my own little party for one....

Gina at Vintage Junk in My Trunk

That coffeepot is the coolest thing ever! Love the green glass top and the etched silver around the opening. Wow!

Into Vintage

I am thrilled on your behalf. It appears the early bird gets the jadeite.

And so happy to hear you didn't faint with joy. That could have been uncomfortable.

julie

That IS my dream sale!

Renee

Simply beautiful...the perk part of the pot is darling. Aluminum trim stamped with all that detail. Cannot wait to see where you put it. Thanks for sharing this dreaminess...smiles...Renee

Mitzi Curi

Oh my goodness, I have never seen a jadite coffee pot like the one you have. What a great find! I might do a happy dance for you!

Tina

Really great stuff there. I'm glad getting up was worth it! I just love Jadite green! Love, love, love!

Kathy

This is the kind of sale that keeps us enduring the bad ones and going back for more!! That coffee pot and the divided plate are great scores.

laurie magpie ethel

That is one of those sales one dreams about for sure...lucky, lucky, lucky you and those pieces are amazing (the coffee pot especially). Totally worth a rainy dark Saturday jaunt to a barn...your rocked the aprons with this one.

Maria (Magia Mia)

Oh.My.God........You don't want to know the expletives that just flew out of my mouth at the sight of that beautiful Jadeite green.......these are the moments we junkers Live.For......

And how cool you shopped where the celebs do. Try to remember us little people when you make it big......:)

Lisa W.

Wow ... I was not quite over the McKee Sunkist reamer in perfect condition yet ! More wonderful Jadite .... good for you !

Martha

I'm so happy for you! What a wonderful experience -- just you and a nice seller and a bunch of cheap, mint Jadite. Your new pieces look especially pretty on your cute red tablecloth.

Joy

I really need to go to some barn sales.

mary kay andrews

I would get up at 3 am for the jadeite you scored. I would slosh through muck for the jadeite you scored. i would shop with alec baldwin...oh. right. everybody would shop with alec baldwin. that's some righteous stuff there, sistah!

Leslie K

How fab! I think you should have given it 10 aprons!

Lena

Oh my, I love that coffeepot. "That" looks like me. lol!

I'm so happy that it was such a nice experience for you and the nice lady selling it. So often, I wonder about the story behind such things.

Mecky

Oh my. I am speechless!!

I am so happy for you. The pieces are beautiful! I have never seen the coffee pot, either. I really like that. One can never have too much jadeite!!

Karina

Oh my goodness - I can just imagine all the thoughts that it must be too good to be true. How wonderful to find such a score - and that the seller knows these lovely pieces will be cared for just as much as they were before. Beautiful collection of one of my favorite colors of green

Marg

Wow! What a treasure trove for any jadeite lover! I'm another one of those who just love jadeite and I envy you the opportunity to buy so much of it in one spot at such great prices.
Maybe one day I'll get that lucky too!
Marg

Brenda Kula

Truly a beautiful collection! I just love these pieces. The green...so sedate.
