It's hard to beat flowers in pink: lantana, geraniums, snapdragons, zinnias.
Petunias, daylilies, phlox, dianthus.
In cotton, appliqued and quilted.
Then blanket-stitched.
With a puff of a yellow center.
Probably my best find Saturday. Probably in Etsy Monday if my willpower holds out. No guarantees on that.
Oh, that quilt is beautiful!! Be strong.

Perhaps you can phone a vintage sponsor for support?
I am facing this same dilemma with a dresser I found this weekend. If only I could fold it up and put it away somewhere while I think it over. I don't know how much longer I can drive around with it in the back of my car.

I don't think I could ever bring myself to make a quilt with solid petals like this (being a scrappy type of quilter), but it is so pretty. You have the best eye, and always manage, somehow, to find the most beautiful textiles.
