This Putz house is my favorite - at least it's this year's favorite.
So I put it where I would see it often, on top of the Hoosier, which is all decorated for the holidays.
Went with a Gurley choir theme this year. The set in the original box was one of my first vintage Christmas purchases and still a favorite.
A silverware box is a good way to collect larger choir boys.
And if they forget the lyrics, they can consult the sheet music - a lovely gift from the lovely Heather.
Christmas tablecloths stacked inside an old vegetable bin.
And my favorite addition to the Christmas linens collection - this perfect Christmas towel, a gift from dear Renee. The Hoosier is all dressed for the holidays, and to me it's more than a piece of furniture. It's a home to little objects that each come with a story, and even better, a reminder of friendships.
I love it ALL - and it looks fantastic.

B..don't laugh. It made me tear a little. I have so been inspired by your wit and obvious vintage beauty. Seeing that hang on a beloved scene is just the sweet image I saw when I pulled that Merry Christmas off on old card and placed it permanently there...Thank you for your inspiration. Smiles..Renee

It is wonderful, you have inspired me to collect red and green goodies to decorate my new kitchen for Christmas. What lovely friends you have, too.

Love your wonderful Hoosier and that Gurley collection. I run across a Gurley from time to time but never in that condition. I think I heard them singing!

Jadeite really does go with everything (your wall color is especially perfect) and I have to wonder if your Gurley choir is belting out their rendition of 'I Yust Go Nuts'?
I confess to immediately enlarging the first photo so I could press my face up against your linen cabinet.

Your kitchen always makes me smile...and, especially at Christmas in all its jadeite, pepperminty sweetness. Darling vintage inpsired script embroidery from Renee and oh, I just love the Jingle Bells sheet music..what a cute presentation. :)

I just love all the vintage Christmas decorations in your kitchen (such a bright & cheery kitchen!). I have a Gurley choir as well. They're so sweet. Love that Hoosier.
