Sunday was one of those rare days when I managed to do pretty much only what I wanted to do. I admired the Christmas cactus that thinks it's a Valentine's Day cactus. (Or a Presidents' Day cactus.)
Took a moment to appreciate a sleepy dog.
(Polly seems to be doing OK. My condition has been upgraded from 'heartsick' to 'cautiously optimistic.')
College Girl came home for the weekend, and I promised her homemade pizza. She invited three of her girlfriends over. As soon as I put the pizza on the table, each of them whipped out their phones at the exact same moment and Instagrammed it. I took that as a compliment.
And I worked on a project that I thought I could finish in a weekend. I was wrong. But it was still a good day.
Such sweet pictures of your fur babies. That's quite a pizza compliment from your daughter. Can't wait to see more of your special project.

I love the color of that Christmas -- or whichever holiday -- cactus. It looks wonderful with that flowerpot and quilt. I only had one blossom on my Christmas cactus this year, so I will enjoy the blossoms on yours.
